Members of the All Ceylon Makkal Congress (ACMC) yesterday urged former President Mahinda Rajapaksa to intervene to stop the mud slinging campaign against their leader Rishad Bathiudeen.
Addressing a media briefing in Colombo yesterday, ACMC National Organizer Abdul Maharoof said that former President Rajapaksa should take action against the racist motives of a group of Opposition members.
ACMC Colombo District Organizer Mohamed Faiz said that the Opposition was attacking Bathiudeen for not supporting the 52-day government.
