Namal Rajapaksa’s Former Secretary Iresha Silva To Be Extradited From Abu Dhabi Following Issuance of Interpol Warrant On Money Laundering Charges.

Authorities in Abu Dhabi are to extradite Hambantota MP Namal Rajapaksa’s former secretary Iresha Silva from the country.

The expulsion comes on a request made by the INTERPOL, through the Sri Lanka Police.

Ornella Iresha Silva is wanted in the HelloCorp case currently pending against Hambantota MP Namal Rajapaksa.

On August 19, the Colombo Magistrates’ Court issued a warrant on Iresha Silva, who is a suspect in the inquiry conducted under the Money Laundering Act.
