Wimal Weerawansa Keeps Away from FCID Inquiry Citing “Spine Ailment” as an Excuse

NFF Leader MP Wimal Weerawansa, who was summoned yesterday for questioning by the FCID on charges of misusing vehicles provided by the Presidential Secretariat during the former regime, did not appear at the FCID’s offices as required.

FCID sources said the MP had informed them that he was unable to be present due to a spine ailment.
