President Sirisena Intervenes Directly to Give Additional Responsibilities to Sarath Fonseka by Allocating More Portfolios and Powers to him

Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka who was appointed the Minister of Provincial Development has got additional portfolios, National Agriculture and Diversification and Human Settlement Authority ( Hadabima).

His Ministry is also tasked with the implementation of development projects in Nuwara Eliya, Badulla, Kandy, Matale, Trincomalee, Batticaloa, Ampara, Anuradhapura and Polnnaruwa Districts.

President Maithripala Sirisena had intervened to assign additional responsibilities to Minister Fonseka, government sources said.
