KANDY – A Presidential Commission had been appointed to recommend the action that should be taken regarding the controversial LTTEer Pathmanathan (KP), Deputy Justice Minister Sujeeva Senasinghe told the media in Kandy yesterday (17).

The report of the commission had not yet been made available to the Attorney General (AG), the Deputy Minister said.

When media inquired whether K. P. was still in Sri Lanka or out of the country, Deputy Minister Senasinghe attempted to contact the AG by phone without success.

He met the media after making a courtesy call on the prelate of Malwatte Most. Ven. Tibbatuwawe Sri Siddhartha Sumangala Thera.
