President Maithripala Sirisena Forms new Government with 27 Cabinet ministers, 10 State Ministers and 8 Deputy Ministers

President Maithripala Sirisena has formed his new Government with Twenty seven Cabinet Ministers,Ten Ministers of State and Eight Deputy Ministers.

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesighe will be in charge of Policy planning and Economic Development while Mangala Samaraweera will be Minister of Foreign Affairs.

President Sirisena will retain the ministry of defence but will be assisted by Ruwan Wijewardene who has been made state minister of defence.
