Former Army Commander Sarath Fonseka’s son-in-law Dhanuna Tilakaratne was released on bail this morning after he surrendered to the Colombo High Court in connection with the HICROP (Pvt.) Limited fraud case.

He has been released on Rs. 400,000 bail and two sureties of Rs. 5 million each and surety should be relatives of the accused.

Releasing the accused under special reasons, the Judge Iranganee Perera also barred the accused from leaving the country.
