E Waraliaddha that traditionally, if a Member of Parliament is to be arrested, due process is followed in accordance with the MP\u2019s Parliamentary privilege. <\/p>\n<p>Kumarasiri has pointed out that the letter sent to the Speaker and himself by the Police, informing of the impending arrest, had only reached his office at 3:24 p.m. on 19 December.
