{"id":54329,"date":"2017-07-22T01:05:33","date_gmt":"2017-07-22T05:05:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dbsjeyaraj.com\/dbsj\/?p=54329"},"modified":"2017-07-23T17:30:31","modified_gmt":"2017-07-23T21:30:31","slug":"national-co-existence-ministry-under-mano-ganesan-publishes-book-about-19ethnic-groups-titled-people-of-sri-lanka","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dbsjeyaraj.com\/dbsj\/?p=54329","title":{"rendered":"National Co-existence Ministry Under Mano Ganesan Publishes  BookTitled &#8220;People of Sri Lanka&#8221;About 19  Ethnic Groups Living in the Island."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The launching ceremony for a book titled \u2018People of Sri Lanka\u2019 published by the Ministry of National Co-existence, Dialogue and Official Languages was held under the patronage of President Maithripala Sirisena at the BMICH this week.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/dbsjeyaraj.com\/dbsj\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/MG-MS.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"310\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-54378\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/dbsjeyaraj.com\/dbsj\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/MG-BL-600x229.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"229\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-54390\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The book, which contains the details of 19 ethnic groups living in Sri Lanka as well as  their cultures and customs, written under the guidance of the Minister of National Co-existence, Dialogue and Official Languages Mano Ganeshan.<\/p>\n<p>The first copy of the book was presented to the President by the Minister Mano Ganeshan.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nThe President also presented awards for the individuals who are contributed to author this book representing 19 ethnic groups.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/dbsjeyaraj.com\/dbsj\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/MG-BL2-600x282.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"282\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-54391\" \/><\/p>\n<p>During this ceremony President Sirisena presented a memento to UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative Una McCauley.<\/p>\n<p>Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, Speaker Karu Jayasuriya, Leader of the Opposition R.
