{"id":53909,"date":"2017-06-25T13:47:01","date_gmt":"2017-06-25T17:47:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dbsjeyaraj.com\/dbsj\/?p=53909"},"modified":"2017-06-25T13:48:04","modified_gmt":"2017-06-25T17:48:04","slug":"govt-doctors-of-gmoa-engage-in-fisticuffs-during-discussion-national-hospital-medico-hospitalised-with-a-broken-nose","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dbsjeyaraj.com\/dbsj\/?p=53909","title":{"rendered":"Govt Doctors of GMOA Engage in Fisticuffs During Discussion: National Hospital  Medico  Hospitalised with a Broken Nose."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong> Sri Lanka\u2019s striking doctors have sent a fellow medical officer to hospital with a broken nose on the same day they refused to treat thousands of other patients in a bid to spite the government.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Doctors discussing the current crisis over private medical education began punching each other both literally and figuratively with one of them ending with a serious nose bleed on Thursday at the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute, Colombo.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>An enraged Government Medical Officers Association (GMOA) member hit a colleague on the face using a ceramic cup as his weapon of choice.
