President Maithripala Sirisena has formed his new Government with Twenty seven Cabinet Ministers,Ten Ministers of State and Eight Deputy Ministers.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesighe will be in charge of Policy planning and Economic Development while Mangala Samaraweera will be Minister of Foreign Affairs.<\/p>\n

President Sirisena will retain the ministry of defence but will be assisted by Ruwan Wijewardene who has been made state minister of defence.<\/em>
