Popular film personalities and people from different walks of life paid rich tributes to legendary music composer M. S. Viswanathan, popularly known as MSV, at a function organised by Kalai Peravai at the National College grounds here on Saturday evening.<\/p>\n

The function was brought up in recognition of MSV\u2019s yeoman service in the field of film music.<\/p>\n

The highlight of the event was a song written by lyricist Vairamuthu hailing MSV\u2019s achievements on the spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nMr. Viswanathan himself composed music instantly and the song was rendered by Srinivas. Classic songs composed by Mr. Viswanathan in his hey days were presented by various singers before the commencement of the function. Mr. Vairamuthu said there could be only one MSV and termed him as a legend in the world of music composition.<\/p>\n
